>>>>>> Chartering & Shipping Abbreviations. 1 2 3

As with other major industries, shipping and shipbroking business is a personal and physical business which needs the essential of human elements & memory. Although more on the side of a complex business and capital intensive, it is also AWASH with terms and abbreviations (short hands terminology) apparently, with its real meanings and interpretations in many legal system as used in international & local coastal chartering, S+P, & shipping business.

Thus, to a shipping student, novice or even an exprienced personel in the business, these terms and common abbreviations as constantly being used may seem very strange or indeed never have heard before. So be careful to know or understand what you are reading or signing.

Therefore, this is by no means exhaustive lists, but the common ones and a free on going dissemination of shipping/shipbroking /Chartering knowledge and explanation guild by the author on this site. Please, where you have any comment or contribution to make,do not hestitate to e-mail me--
